Inspiration

So maybe not the most practical. But I love the idea of incorporating comics or graphic novel style illustration with B2B marketing. It's just different enough to really grab someone's attention.

But because it's difficult to execute it might be worth saving for high-value accounts. 

Here's an example of a comic agency GumGum created when courting the business of T-mobile. They did their research and discovered that the CEO was a huge fan of Batman. So they created a custom comic book called T-man and Gums:

Talk about a show-stopping piece. If you've ever wondered if a prospect or target account will actually read the content you send them, there would be no worries here.

So how can you bring this same idea into the everyday? Up your visual storytelling game. You don't have to commission an entire comic for a single recipient. Go big on infographics. Lean into comic strips. Take the written word and turn in visual. Just do a little something extra to stand out.
