Here's hoping y'all aren't too sick of holiday campaigns at this point to appreciate this one, because it doesn't have to happen during the holidays.

Copper's #CoffeeOnCopper holiday campaign gave those who participated the chance to pay-it-forward. When I became aware of it, I knew immediately I couldn't keep this sweet idea secret from our subscribers. It was heartwarming, yes, but also simple and effective.  

Copper held a contest for their customers to win CoffeeOnCopper via the landing page below.

Every day someone was selected and gifted a $100 Starbucks gift card to share with their team. But that's not all. They also received a link to a second Starbucks gift card they could then give to one of their own customers. All Copper asked is for the recipient to send a tweet tagging both Copper and the customer with the hashtag #CoffeeOnCopper.

They also used the fun giveaway campaign as an opportunity to treat and reconnect with partners they enjoyed working with throughout the year. Very apropos because Copper (as a CRM) is all about strengthening relationships.  

It was a cute, easily executable idea that could be adapted for any time of year. After all, the best gift is giving. So why not give your customers the very best gift of all?
