Congratulations to the Q1 2023 MVU Award Winners
Exciting things are happening at Uberflip. At our FY23 Kickoff we rolled out new core values and a new employee recognition program. As we continue to grow as a company, it's important that our values grow with us. These values represent where we started, where we are today, and where we are going.

- Listen, understand and value the people all around you
- Create great experiences
- Be Empathetic
Be Bold & Innovate
- Perpetually challenge the status quo
- Be a champion of your initiative
- Be open to failure
- Be a part of the solution
Make Data-Driven Decisions
- Stay relevant and contextual
- Communicate constantly
- Seek efficiency
- Be practical and rational
- Deliver on your initiative
If you have been around for a while you know how seriously we take our core values. To provide alignment we also updated our quarterly recognition program. But not to worry, the Cories are not going anywhere, they will be held annually to close out the year.
The Corie's have always been an important part of who we are, an opportunity to showcase those individuals who have represented our values in their work and their interactions with their peers and our customers. What was realized however was the Corie's more often than not focused on a moment in time or singular event versus day to day. While this is important we felt that it was time to build on that and roll out a program that takes a more holistic approach to peer recognition, considering the actions of individuals across all teams over the course of a quarter.
Introducing the Most Valuable Uberflipper (MVU for short)!
The quarterly MVU awards kicked off at the end of Q1 FY2023. Each quarter we will award 6 MVU's, we will celebrate an Uberflipper from each department. The MVU award provides employees with the opportunity to shine a spotlight on a team member that has encompassed one of our three *new* Core Values through their work and interactions with peers, co-workers & customers.
For an employee to be nominated the submission must include concrete examples of how the individual demonstrated our values in their everyday work life. Employees have a week to finalize their submissions and the MVU committee reviews submissions and finalizes the winners. Winners are awarded an MVU trophy and are announced at the first company-wide Standup of the new quarter.
Our CEO, Yoav Schwartz puts it best:
"The MVU program reinforces that every team and team member is an important part of the success of this organization and is designed to celebrate and foster collaboration, connection and appreciation."
With that please join us in celebrating our FY23 Q1 MVU winners!!!
