In a recent guest post on the C100 blog, Uberflip’s CEO, Yoav Schwartz, details his experience at AccelerateTO, which was hosted on October 10, 2012 by The C100.

The C100 is a non-profit organization that helps aspiring Canadian entrepreneurs in the tech industry get the knowledge, connections and funding they need in order to develop successful businesses. AccelerateTO was one such effort, providing an opportunity for C100 members to network with important speakers, mentors and investors.

Though admittedly skeptical of other such events, Schwartz found the experience to be well-organized, engaging and was impressed by his fellow attendees. “I had the opportunity to meet people that wanted to learn from my experience, others that had incredible stories to share and of course a handful of VCs that wanted to catch up or learn more about Uberflip,” Schwartz explains. “When you bring such a high caliber of individuals together in a setting like that, magical things start to happen…”

AccelerateTO was just one of several ties between Uberflip and The C100. The two have been working closely to develop The C100’s newsletter, which was created using Uberflip’s digital publishing software. The newsletter has already received very positive feedback, such as the following tweet:
