Content curation is as much a part of our strategy as content creation here at Uberflip. Not just because we like sharing the information wealth, but because it’s better for everyone that way – you get a variety of content from different points of view instead of the all-Uberflip channel, we get to subsidize our own hard work with other peoples’ hard work, and they get a shout out. Wins all around!
We’re in an especially great position because we’re content marketers talking and learning about content marketing – so everything we read for ourselves is essentially just as valuable for our audience, and vice versa.
Everyone on the Uberflip team is constantly reading up about content marketing, lead generation, social media, tech, and the like (Feedly is my second home).
Here’s a list of blogs we visit on the regular, but it’s by no means complete. We’re always on the lookout for great sources of content, so if you have one (or more) content marketing blogs YOU love, let us know in the comments!
The Content Marketeer (besides having an adorable name) is run by Kapost, a fellow content marketing software platform. They’re consistently pushing out highly-readable content that’s straightforward, informative and relevant to content marketers’ needs. It hits a great balance between fun, “fluffier” pieces and in-depth articles.
TopRank's blog covers a wide range of marketing topics, but some of their top posts fall under content marketing, influencer marketing, and SEO. Lee Odden – TopRank's CEO, author, speaker, and marketer extraordinaire – is a frequent contributor so be sure to check out his posts.

3. Marketo Blog
Marketing automation software company Marketo’s blog is chock-full of awesome information. Divided into 5 categories (Marketing Automation, Social Media, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Modern Marketing), I’d recommend their blog to marketers of all shapes, sizes, and levels of expertise. You can even sort by B2B or consumer marketing! So handy.
Convince and Convert is the blog baby of Jay Baer, bona fide content marketing expert and author of Youtility and Hug Your Haters. Jay contributes a ton of content to the blog himself, supplemented by an ongoing range of guest bloggers, and you can always count on finding something fun, interesting or insightful when you go there.

This MarketingProfs listing isn't strictly a blog in the typical sense. The way that the MarketingProfs resources are organized blends everything together into an amazing collection of everything marketing. Read articles, guides & reports, and get access to other forms of media.
If you’re looking for an onslaught of marketing, business, social media, and tech news, Business 2 Community is the place to go. They boast a ton of content from countless writers ranging in industry and expertise, so you’re always sure to find something on the topic you’re interested in.

7. Jeff Bullas
Jeff Bullas is a blogger, author, speaker and online marketing consultant with a hearty following. He publishes daily and is an especially great resource for social media strategy, something he often focuses on. Plus, he has an awesome little caricature drawing of himself as his logo/mascot which makes me laugh every time I go there.

8. The Moz Blog
Moz started out as SEOMoz, an SEO consulting company, and has grown into an SEO and inbound marketing juggernaut. Their community is legendary for being extremely loyal and engaged, and the frequency, relevance, and quality of their blog posts has a lot to do with that. Their reputation draws a lot of high-quality writers, so you can be sure you’re getting good information.

10. HubSpot Blog
HubSpot is a content beast, and I mean that in a good way. Have a marketing question? They’ve covered it. Industry news? They’re on it. I think their team might have mastered the ancient art of sleep-writing*, because the sheer volume of content they put out is astounding – and it’s still top notch.
*Sleep-writing is not actually a thing and totally made up
Kissmetrics’ blog is so good that I have to actively keep myself from sharing each post and turning Uberflip’s social media channels into a virtual Kissmetrics shrine. As a metrics platform, their pieces on anything analytics-related are especially knowledgeable and valuable, but they also dip into social strategy, visual content, copywriting, design, you name it.
If you haven’t heard of Contently, they’ve created a journalist marketplace where brands can hire writers and jump on the content marketing train. The Content Strategist is their company blog, with an overall focus on branding, publishing and marketing through storytelling – a topic that’s getting hotter as content marketing becomes more mainstream.

The “dork” in question here is Noah Kagan, Chief Sumo at AppSumo and expert in marketing and tech. While his blog sways toward startup marketing (along with self improvement, as it is his personal blog), his insights can apply to companies big and small.

14. The Buffer blog
I’m a huge fan of Buffer, not just because I personally use their product (and it rocks), but because they use their insider knowledge to create really valuable content I can’t stop reading. Their content is actionable and useful for all members of the marketing team – not just your social manager.
Copyblogger is a favorite among the marketing team here at Uberflip. It's an amazing resource for anyone who wants to up their game at content marketing. Take a read through the blog, but also check out Sonia Simone's podcast, Confessions of a Pink-Haired Marketer!
As I said before, this is not a full list – it just scratches the surface of great content marketing blogs out there (Content Marketing Institute and B2B Marketing Insider to name a few more). What blogs do you visit regularly that you think we should add to this list? Let us know (seriously, we want to know)!
It goes without saying we hope you think the Uberflip blog is a must-read too! If you’d like to receive our blog posts in your inbox, subscribe to our Hub for a daily delivery.
