We've all read stories predicting the death of email marketing. They claim that people would rather use Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn or even Skype instead of opening their same old inbox. "Email is outdated," they say. "It's not effective anymore."
However, a variety of reports show a different reality and may be surprising. According to eConsultancy's recent Email Marketing Industry Census, email marketing is actually growing; revenue via this channel has gone up and brands are increasing their investment on email campaigns.
