INFOGRAPHIC: Are 70k apps enough for BlackBerry?

BlackBerry seems to be riding high since the launch of its two new smartphones. Tech experts have been posting rave reviews about the devices and its new operating system, BB10.

However, many of them question how successful these two smartphones will actually be considering that BlackBerry’s revamped app store, BlackBerry World, arrived with approximately 70k apps. This number places the company far behind its two closest competitors: the Apple App Store (800k+ apps) and Google Play (700k+ apps). Here’s a look at how BlackBerry’s app ecosystem really compares to the rest.
