Congratulations to the Q3 2021 Corie Award Winners
Here at Uberflip we take our Core Values very seriously. So seriously that we turned them into an Award to be handed out at our quarterly Kickoffs that we call ‘The Cories’.
We broke down our Core Values here to bring you up to speed. Each quarter we put out a call to the entire company to nominate their colleagues who best embody our six Core Values. This quarter was filled with some amazing nominations and super deserving winners!
Culture Award
The Culture award goes to the Uberflipper who puts culture above all else. This quarter, we're congratulating Sales Engineer, Jacquie Dinershul! Check out these awesome nominations from Jacquie’s colleagues:
Although Jacquie is new, she has jumped in head first to embrace all things Uberflip and the culture here. She has taken the time to make real connections with everyone she has worked with or met so far. Cannot wait to see her progress!
Jacquie has a big personality and she is already using it. She builds rapport quickly with customers and prospects and is someone that people want to be around. She has started taking initiative by proactively solving problems and building decks. We're so happy she stopped "dealing in steel" (her old industry) to come over to Uberflip.
Experience Award
Next, our Experience award. At Uberflip we’re all about creating great experiences so it’s no surprise this is a core value of ours. This award goes to the Uberflipper who creates an incredible, noteworthy experience in some way. We had even more representation from our Sales Engineer team with Chase Ivany winning this award. Check out his nominations below:
Chase has a calm demeanour, which is really effective in sales cycles. His experience as a TAM at Eloqua has helped him ramp up fast and create incredible experiences for his customers. He is going to be ridiculously good as an SE.
As a newer member on the sales team, Chase has needed to learn how to adapt to working with many different people and personalities. He has approached each working relationship with a level of thoughtfulness and professionalism that would be hard to match resulting in quotes such as "Chase is BAE" and "Chase was an unbelievable pickup"
Communication Award
The next Corie award is our Communication award. This award is for the Uberflipper who makes the most impact through open communication. This quarter the award went to Beth Wanner, Senior Director of Product Marketing & Brand Strategy! Once you read the nominations we’re sure you’ll agree with this decision!
Beth is a really strong communicator with a focus on ensuring her team and those around her are bought into the goals needed to hit targets.
Beth is awesome. She has become a real leader on the marketing team. She is an excellent communicator across functions (sales, product) and is an expert marketer herself. Beth has done a great job working with analysts. On a personal note, whenever she asks me to do a demo, she always preps me thoroughly and I appreciate her going above and beyond to make sure I'm ready to rock. She is a sharp thinker and elevates the team around her. Whether it's via Slack, email, or on Zoom, she is an open communicator and a pleasure to work with!
L.U.V. The Customer Award
Our L.U.V. the Customer award is our newest core value and is centered around Listening, Understanding and Valuing the Customer. This award is given to the Uberflipper who always puts the customer first. It comes as no surprise that our rockstar Customer Success Manager Chris Burke is his quarter's winner! Here's what Chris' colleagues said about him:
Chris is always thinking of ways to improve the customer experience and get ahead of conversations. He's contributed so much to the Ambassador program and a ton of insight on how our customers function day to day. He really embodies the concept of listening, understanding and valuing his customers and is always looking for new, creative ways to show Uberflip's appreciation for our great customers.
Chris knows his customers in and out and takes it upon himself to provide exceptional support and service to them. He goes above and beyond to make his customers feel valued and the experience sticks with them.
Give Back Award
If you’ve followed Uberflip for long enough you know how important our Give Back core value is to us. We commit to donating 1% of our annual growth to charitable causes every year. That same Give Back mentality is shared amongst Uberflippers and this award goes to the Uberflipper who gives back to our community or team in the most impactful way. This quarter that Uberflipper was Technical Account Manager, Megan Spicer! Here's what Megan's colleagues said about her:
Megan is such a joy to work with. In her time here on the TAM team, she has provided so much value in getting systems and processes in place to have the team running like a dream. Without her, we would likely be a disorganized mess. She rarely says no to an idea and always willing to turn it into a document, file, template, or some form of repeatable process. Her experience has been invaluable to set us up as a team and set up the onboarding process to ensure our TAMs are the experts they can be and they are set up for success.
H.U.S.T.L.E. Award
Last but not least, our H.U.S.T.L.E. award! The acronym stands for Heart, Unique, Skill, Tech, Lean, Entrepreneurial. This core value is at the center of everything we do at Uberflip. We award this Corie to the Uberflipper who embodies the spirit of HUSTLE day in and out. This quarter’s H.U.S.T.L.E. Corie award winner was Senior Software Developer, Ronald Kimball!! Here's a sample of what his colleagues said about him:
Ronald exemplifies hustle. He helps everyone and does great work. Ronald is a great coder, his HUSTLE during the recent outage was amazing
Experienced and knowledgable member of the engineering department. Supports and contributes to not only his team but others as well when asked and are in need. Overall great individual with a positive attitude towards work and others.
Congratulations to all of our nominees and our Q3 Corie Award winners! See you next quarter.
