Last month, The Uberflip team planned Startupong for the 5th year! Our founders Randy Frisch and Yoav Schwartz created this event to bring the tech community together for a fun night and very competition, and most of all raise money for a charity that is important to so many - SickKids Foundation.

This was the first year that Startupong was hosted at Uberflip HQ! Our new(ish) 30,000 square foot office seemed like the perfect place to host hundreds of people from the community for a fun and eventful night!

We are beyond thrilled to say that we raised over $50,000 for SickKids, thanks to so many incredible companies and individuals who supported such a special event.

As always, the competition was very fierce. It's clear that Toronto has some serious talent! Over 60 teams participated in the super fun (yet very intense) tournament. HUGE CONGRATS to this years winners of the entire tournament Wealthsimple, our Startupong 2019 Champs!

Uberflippers had an absolute blast volunteering and hosting this event, and connecting with wonderful people from around the community.
