How to Add a Blog Stream

Uberflip Customer Success

Adding a Blog Stream into your Hub is a great way to optimize and showcase your best top-of-funnel content.

You can pull your existing blog into your Hub using an RSS feed, or, if you don’t have a blog, you can create a new one within your Hub.

You can also pull in feeds from influencers or popular industry blogs to round out your Hub’s content. You can hide any item, or even an entire Stream, at any time, which is handy if you want to include just a few outsider blog posts rather than the entire feed.

To import a blog, log in to your Hub’s management page. Select Content from the left-side menu. Click +New Stream.

A new window will pop up. Select the blog icon.

Enter your website URL, blog URL, or RSS feed's URL.

Once you've entered the URL, you'll have a few optional configurations:

1. Start from scratch

If you don’t have an existing RSS feed, select this option to create a blog from scratch. You will be able to author, publish, and design blog posts directly from within the Uberflip application using the Blog Authoring Tool.

2. Allow small images to be used for thumbnails

Selecting this option will scan the article for smaller images to be used as the thumbnail image on the blog tile.

3. Automatically match author profiles

Selecting this option will automatically find the author of the article and create an author profile. Next time a post is published by the same author, they will be recognized and their author profile will be added to the bottom of the post.

When you are ready to import your blog, click the blue Add your Blog button.
